Project 78RPM pulley kit

The 78 RPM kit contains a different belt and pulley (but does not include an alternative stylus or cartridge), in order to play 78 RPM records on certain Pro-ject turntables. Please note that by using this kit you will lose the ability to play at 45 RPM.

You will need a suitable stylus to play 78 RPM records, this is not included, these are available for both the OM and 2M series of cartridges, please contact us for more information.

This kit is for use with the following turntables only -

    Debut II and Debut III range (except Debut Phono SB)

    Debut Carbon*

    RPM 5 (any version except the RPM 5 Superpack)

    Xpression (any version except the Comfort models, excl. Xpression Carbon)

* Please Note, the Debut Carbon start-up speed can be slower with the 78 RPM pulley kit installed. Please recognise the platter may benefit from a little nudge to help it get going.
