The Vinyl Frontier 2019

Our annual record event took place on June the 29th and was our largest to date. Weeks worth of work went in to preparing (cleaning, grading etc) many hundreds of records from our massive stock. Despite being the hottest day of the year to date the attendance was very good - thanks to everyone that braved the heat and made it along.

In the showcase room, Tim, from the band Sweet Billy Pilgrim introduced and played a fascinating selection of his favourite new Vinyl releases and reissues. These eclectic (and oh so good) choices spanned Classical, Jazz through to Electronica, with a smattering of classic reissues thrown in for good measure:

The system used featured an Audio Note Io cartridge on a Nottingham Analogue Hyperspace, Bespoke Audio preamplifier, power amplification was an Audion Silver Night and the speakers were the Avantgarde Zeros.
